Emerging Europe is running the Support Digital Ukraine project to shape perceptions and help its tech businesses and community to stay afloat and in the minds of a global community of international investors, opinion leaders, buyers of tech services.
Tech Emerging Europe Advocates together with other Global Tech Advocates groups and the worldwide tech community have launched a number of initiatives supporting the Ukrainian tech sector.

Initiatives supporting Ukraine's tech ecosystem
TEEA Ukraine Chapter
Supported by Tech London Advocates & Global Tech Advocates, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, TechUkraine and UNIT.City, the Ukraine chapter was launched on March 3, 2022, a week after Russia’s invasion in Ukraine.
Made with Bravery
EVO, a Ukrainian product IT company, launched Made with Bravery - an official electronic marketplace of products made in Ukraine, - with the support of global payments leader Visa, communications agency Banda, and informational assistance from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Its goal is to unite Ukrainian entrepreneurs into a community, promote Ukrainian products abroad and facilitate the export of Ukrainian goods, helping develop Ukrainian business and rebuild Ukraine. Ukrposhta provides the delivery of the goods.
Ukraine’s Tech Ecosystem
Ukrainian Tech Ecosystem Overview is an online platform for business information about IT companies, people, investors and the whole tech ecosystem of Ukraine in general.
Information includes data on current IT-companies development, founders, officers and managers, companies' classification by industries, investment and funding, mergers and acquisitions, breaking news and industry trends.
UA Founders is a platform helping Ukrainian entrepreneurs to leverage a network of people willing to help out so they can keep their business afloat in these troubled times. Each side can publish a request for help or offer a service as well as browse the list of published offers and requests.
B2BeeMatch for Ukrainian SME's
Many small and medium-sized businesses around the world know that working with the Ukrainian IT sector and other Ukrainian sectors is a direct way of supporting the Ukrainian economy and fighting for freedom. Key decision makers in these companies are paying attention and poised to take action—they just need a way to connect with Ukrainian businesses. B2BeeMatch, together with TechUkraine, has created an initiative to support Ukrainian businesses to network with companies around the world.
€-Support! to IT companies
IT Ukraine Association offers assistance and shows companies that they are not alone in the ongoing situation. Є-Support! is aimed at providing qualified consultations to IT companies on the following issues: CSR initiatives (providing assistance to the army and the refugees); general mobilisation; specialist relocation and border crossing; first aid training, psychological assistance; business continuity planning; other issues upon request.
Do Business with Ukrainians
UCuniversity and graduates of the UCU Business School launched Do Business with Ukrainians – the platform of Ukrainian business teams you can work with now.
The project aims at offering support to Ukrainian small business to obtain international orders, providing support for the successful management of these international projects, and providing grant assistance for small businesses to fulfill their obligations (pay taxes, pay salaries).
Support Ukrainian startups NOW
Free Ukraine Foundation launched the program Support Ukrainian startups NOW - a grant support program for the IT and start-up companies of Ukraine.
The program is only focused on those who decided to stay in Ukraine The team has identified a targeted approach that is a more flexible response to the individual needs of start-up projects to keep them going. This includes not only financial assistance, but also additional support provided by specialists, consultants, technical support.
Google Startups Ukraine Support Fund
Selected Ukraine-based start-ups will be selected on a rolling basis and receive up to 100,000 US dollars in non-dilutive funding as well as ongoing Google mentorship, product support and Cloud credits.
The Ukraine Support Fund, a hands-on support is designed to help Ukrainian entrepreneurs maintain and grow their businesses, strengthen their community and build a foundation for post-war economic recovery. Companies with a social impact mission will be prioritised. Applications can be made throughout 2022.
Save Ukrainian Startups
Geek Ventures has launched Save Ukrainian Startups to help Ukrainian start-ups suffering from the war to find funding and other necessary support. You can find different ways to support or be supported if:
- You are a founder of a Ukrainian start-up that is raising money right now;
- You are a founder that doesn’t need to raise, but is willing to help Ukrainian founders in their fundraising (by mentoring, introductions, etc);
- You are an investor willing to support Ukraine by investing in Ukrainian start-ups right now; or you are a volunteer willing to help start-ups that are struggling.
E-Residency
E-Residency has launched a state fee reimbursement offer to financially support Ukrainian entrepreneurs, help them deal with the consequences of war, and promote the development of the Ukrainian and Estonian economies.
Ukrainian Tech Collective
The Ukraine Tech Collective (UTC) matches international software developers with job vacancies left by Ukrainian software engineers called on to defend their country from Russian invasion.
Software developers and tech companies from around the globe donate their skills and resources to provide work cover for their Ukrainian peers as to provide financial stability to their families.
Spend with Ukraine
Ukraine is a home to many great products.
To Spend With Ukraine is to Stand with Ukraine. In this website you can fund and purchase different Ukrainian products, from gadgets to fashion.
Ukrainian Tech Circle
A network of angel investors, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs and tech professionals. Ukrainian Tech Circle provides opportunities to the Ukrainian tech start-ups that have suffered from the consequences of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
